Terms of Service

Effective date: June 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Build app operated by Sawdust Ventures LLC ("Build", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Build

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Build. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly at help@usebuild.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You own the content you create in Build — your workouts, routines, custom exercises, and notes. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, sync, and display that content to operate the app for you. If you create a share link, you're responsible for who you share it with.

Subscriptions and payments

Build offers free features and optional paid subscriptions. Paid subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Payments, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under its terms; we don't process your payment details directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to harass others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Access another user's account or data without permission.
• Resell or misuse the app's AI features (voice logging, routine import).

Service availability

Build is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and features may change over time.

Health disclaimer

Build is a fitness-tracking tool, not medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise program. You're responsible for training safely.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Build and Sawdust Ventures LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new effective date here and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
